Overview
Experience the magic of Bhutan with Wander Woman as you explore Thimphu, Paro, and Punakha from September 29–October 2, 2026. Day - 1
Arrival – Thimphu and Overnight stay at Thimphu.
- Upon arriving at Paro airport, our representative will assist you in escorting you to -Thimphu. - Lunch will be served at Paro, followed by a visit *En route- Tachogang Lhakhang (temple). 15th-century iron suspension bridge. - After a lunch at a tourist restaurant, followed by a visit * Viewpoint - Tashichho Dzong (Fortress) * Bhutanese authentic craft street - Evening, freely wandering the city.
Day - 2
Thimphu City Tour and Overnight stay at Thimphu
- Drive to Punakha via Dochu-la Pass (3,088 m). On a clear day, enjoy a magnificent view of the highest peaks of the Himalayas, followed by - Druk Wangyal Chorten (Temple) at Dochu La/Nature walks * Punakha Dzong (fortress), was built in 1637 and is situated between the female & male rivers * Enjoy a scenic walk on one of Bhutan's longest suspension bridges - Return to Thimphu.
Day - 3
Transfer to Paro and Overnight stay at Paro
- After a delightful breakfast, embark on a memorable visit, drive to Paro * The Buddha Dordenma statue is one of the world's largest Buddha Rupas * Airport Bird’s Eye viewpoint/Riverside * Paro Dzong, built in 1646, is a fortress with a traditional wooden bridge as you approach it. - Lunch will be served at Paro. Evening- leisure time.
Day - 4
Paro City Tour and Overnight stay at Paro
- After an early breakfast, drive to a hiking spot. The Taktsang Monastery is perched on a ledge of rock. - Lunch will be served in the towns top tourist eatery, followed by a visit. * If time permits- Drukgyel Dzong (fortress), was constructed in 1649 to fend off Tibetan invasions - Lunch will be served at Paro. Evenings – Leisure time & shopping in the city.
Day - 5
Fly back Hom
- After breakfast Drop to Paro Airport. - Fly back to Home.
